When you book a BLADE Airport flight, we will ensure you get to or from JFK or Newark as fast and safely as possible, whether by helicopter or with our new BLADE Back-Up Car

In the event the weather conditions are not within our standards for flying, one of our in-house BLADE cars will drive you to your destination without worry and with ample time to get to your airport terminal or back into the city.

Just like we actively manage and monitor your helicopter mission, we will oversee your ground transfer to ensure the car is waiting for you and staged at the right place with drivers trained to take the quickest route to the airport.

The cost of the BLADE Back-Up Car Service will simply be applied against your flight credit for BLADE Airport. Pricing will be consistent with Uber Black at the time, and your credits will be applied toward the cost of the ride. Please note that this upgrade is only eligible for pick-ups within the five boroughs.

Upon booking your flight, you will be asked to enter the address you would want us to pick you up at. Don’t worry, if you are not sure where you will be, as you will have the opportunity to change your pickup location or cancel as you see fit, free of charge, anytime before the car is dispatched. However, if you cancel your pickup and our Back-Up Car is already en route, please be aware that a $25 fee may apply.

Depending on availability, BLADE reserves the right to leverage a 3rd party car service but our team will always monitor the mission from start to finish to make sure it is the fastest option and that the experience is as seamless as with any other BLADE product.
