Cancellation Policy

BLADE Hamptons (Basic Fare Class)

  • More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order minus a cancellation fee of $125 per seat.
  • Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.
  • Weather Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your entire order.

 

BLADE Hamptons FLEX (Flex Fare Class)

  • More than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order.
  • Less than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order. 
  • Weather Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your entire order.

 

BLADE Hamptons MAX (Max Fare Class)

  • Up to one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order or you may elect to receive a credit card refund of the value of your order.
  • Less than one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.
  • Weather Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive Blade Credits equal to the value of your order or you may elect to receive a credit card refund of the value of your order (minus credit card processing fees).

  • Up to one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure: You may change your flight reservation at no cost.
  • Less than one (1) hour prior to scheduled departure: No changes allowed.

 

 

 

Fixed-Wing Aircraft

Cancellation Policy

Change Policy

 

More than seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled departure

You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order. If you have entered into a separate charter agreement with us, the cancellation policy stated in the agreement shall govern.

 

Within seventy-two (72) to twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure

You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order minus a 50% cancellation fee. If you have entered into a separate charter agreement with us, the cancellation policy stated in the agreement shall govern. 

 

Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure

No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.

 

 

More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure

You may change your flight reservation up to twenty-four (24) hours before scheduled departures, within best efforts that BLADE can accommodate. 

 

Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure

You may not change your flight reservation.

  • More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order minus a cancellation fee of $95 per seat.
  • Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.
  • Weather Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your entire order.

 

BLADE Airport FLEX (Flex Fare Class)

  • Any time prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order.
  • Any time at or after scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order. 
  • Weather Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your entire order.

 

BLADE Airport MAX (Max Fare Class)

  • Any time prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order or you may elect to receive a credit card refund of the value of your order.
  • Any time after scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.
  • Weather Cancellation: In the event of cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you will receive Blade Credits equal to the value of your order or you may elect to receive a credit card refund of the value of your order (minus credit card processing fees).

  • More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your trip reservation and receive BLADE Credits equal to the value of your order minus a cancellation fee of $25 per seat.
  • Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.

 

 

Hamptons Streamliner FLEX (Flex Fare Class):

  • More than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may cancel your trip reservation and receive BLADE Credits or elect to receive a credit card refund, less the Flex Fare upgrade cost.
  • Less than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure: No cancellations allowed. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.

 

 

Hamptons Streamliner BASIC (Basic Fare Class):

  • More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure: You may change your trip reservation for a change fee of $25 per seat.

Shared Charter and Crowdsourced Flights

You may not cancel your flight reservation. Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.

 

 

You may not change your flight reservation. All sales are final.

 

 

Non-Jet Charters (Helicopter and Seaplane)

More than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure

You may cancel your flight reservation and receive BLADE Credits. If you have entered into a separate charter agreement with us, the cancellation policy stated in the agreement shall govern.

 

Less than twenty-four (24) hours prior to scheduled departure

No cancellations allowed.  Any cancellation will result in a full forfeiture of the value of your entire order.

 

 

Greater than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure

Changes will be accommodated subject to aircraft availability. Additional charges may apply.

 

Less than three (3) hours prior to scheduled departure

You may not change your flight reservation.

 

 


 

Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance

 

You may purchase Cancellation/Weather Insurance as an add-on for select flights. Without Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance, you will only receive BLADE Credits. With Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance, in the event of a cancellation due to weather or other covered reasons, you may elect to receive a credit card refund rather than BLADE Credits (which is standard policy). Please note, certain airport by-the-seat fare classes may include weather/cancellation insurance benefits.

 

Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance:

·         Is non-refundable;

·         Includes a refund of your entire fare, taxes, and upgrades (excluding the Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance upgrade);

·         Waives any applicable cancellation fee;

·         Is not available for flights or seats purchased with BLADE Credits or gift cards; and

·         Is only available at the time you purchase your flight and cannot be added afterward.

In the case of Nantucket and Hamptons scheduled flights, Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance is only available when booking seats on flights no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to departure. In the case of charter flights, Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance may be purchased in the Blade application when booking your flight so long as your order is placed no less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to your desired departure. If you wish to charter a flight and purchase Cancellation/Weather Insurance less than forty-eight (48) hours prior to your desired departure, please call Flier Relations at 844-359-2523.

 

Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance is not available for BLADEone, Aspen, and Nassau scheduled flights.

 

Shared Charters, Hamptons Same-Day Round Trip Flights, Crowdsourced Flights, and Montauk Sky Scheduled Flights ONLY

 

With Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance, in the event of a cancellation due to weather, you may elect to receive a credit card refund rather than BLADE Credits (which is standard policy).

 

Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance:

(i)                  Is non-refundable;

(ii)                Includes a refund of your entire fare, taxes, and upgrades (excluding the Flight Cancellation/Weather Insurance upgrade);

*In order to minimize the passenger impact of cancellations and delays due to weather, unforeseen mechanical events, temporary flight restrictions and airport congestion, BLADE may reassign you to a different aircraft than the type on which you originally purchased your ticket. Such reassignments may include moving between helicopters, seaplanes and turboprop aircraft.
BLADE's Weather and Delay Policies are expressly incorporated by reference into these Flight Cancellation and Change Policies as if fully set forth herein. In the event of a conflict between the terms of these Flight Cancellation and Change Policies and BLADE's Weather and Delay Policies, these Flight Cancellation and Change Policies will control.
