After your helicopter lands at the airport, a BLADE vehicle will be waiting to transport you and other passengers to your departure terminal. Please note that there is a limit of two-terminal drop-offs per vehicle. Alternatively, you can opt for our Meet and Greet service, which provides a private vehicle and a member of our FX team to assist you with your baggage.

Upon your arrival at the airport, a BLADE vehicle will be waiting for you at the arrivals terminal to take you on a short drive to your helicopter. You will receive a text message with your driver’s contact information, meeting location, and vehicle type before your jet pulls into the terminal.

Please ensure that you enter accurate flight information when booking, as the departure time of your helicopter flight is based on your commercial flight's scheduled landing time. Our Flier Relations Team will monitor your flight and adjust your helicopter departure time to coincide with your actual arrival time at no additional cost, provided it falls within our service window. In the event of a delay beyond our service window, we will credit your account for the full value of your order.

After your BLADE lands in Manhattan, you can relax at the BLADE Lounge. If you book BLADE ground connect, a vehicle will be pre-staged at our lounge prior to your arrival. Alternatively, our lounge-based FX staff can assist you in ordering a car from a hailing app.

Each passenger is permitted to bring one commercial airline carry-on (measuring 22 in x 16 in x 9 in) that will be stored in the baggage compartment of the aircraft. Additionally, one personal item (such as a laptop or purse) is allowed per person as long as the combined weight of both items does not exceed 25 lbs. For further information, please refer to our detailed luggage policy. If you have additional luggage requirements, you may opt to purchase a ToteTaxi luggage pickup and delivery upgrade during checkout or contact Flier Relations at 844-FLYBLADE after your purchase.

BLADE has partnered with Tote Taxi to pick up and deliver baggage anywhere in Manhattan below 90th Street. The $135 service includes two checked-size bags; additional bags are $40 each. You or a representative (doorman, family member, etc) must be present during the entire pickup and delivery window.

BLADE to Airport: For BLADE flights before 2 PM; you must book tote taxi by noon the day prior; pickups are made the day before your flight between 3 PM and 6 PM. For BLADE flights departing after 2 PM; you must book tote taxi by 5am the same day; bags will be picked up between 7 AM – 11 AM on the same day as your flight. Bags will be waiting for you at the heliport and placed in your vehicle for transportation to the curb. BLADE will not check-in bags with your commercial airline on your behalf.

BLADE from Airport: Airport – NYC bags are picked up at the airport after 7:15 PM and delivered in the evening. You must claim your own baggage upon arrival. If you arrive less than 10 minutes prior to your departure time, you will be deemed to have missed your flight. If you miss your flight, you may choose to purchase a new seat on a later flight from $195. For more information on our change policy, please review our Cancellations and Change Policies.

Chartering provides the option to reserve a private helicopter that departs at your preferred time, can wait for you if you’re running late, and is accessible 24/7/365. As a charter customer, you may be eligible for free aircraft upgrades, depending on availability. Excess luggage exceeding the 25 lbs per person limit can be accommodated on charters. You can book flights on our app up to 30 minutes before takeoff. However, for flights to NYC airports, a late booking fee of $45 will be charged for bookings made within one hour of departure (this fee does not apply to flights from airports).

In the event that your inbound commercial flight is delayed and you miss your BLADE Airport flight, you will be accommodated on the next available flight. If the commercial flight is delayed beyond the airport flight window, you will receive a refund in BLADE credits. In case of a delay outside the continuous window, Essential Ground Connect is available to transport you to your final destination.
