When New Yorkers think BLADE, they think about helicopters.
For over a decade, we’ve connected Manhattan, JFK, Newark, and the Hamptons, setting the stage for a new age of urban air mobility.
But the world is changing. The future of flight is quiet and emission-free.
The future of flight is quiet, emission-free, and closer than you think.

A historic first
in New York airspace

This week, our parent company, Joby Aviation, will demonstrate its electric, quiet, and emission-free aircraft on flights between JFK and our three Blade landing zones in Manhattan.

This is a key milestone that showcases how New Yorkers will travel short distances by air while creating a model for cities around the world.

BLADE is proud to help bring this next-generation technology into active service, and to serve as the platform where this transition takes shape.

The aircraft are new.
The expectation remains the same.
