GENERAL TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL FARE CLASSES
Submitting a request. All requests to change or cancel a reservation must be sent by email to reservations@blade.com. The applicable fee is determined by the time at which Aero or Blade receives the request.
Contacting us. All commercial matters relating to a BLADEone Flight, including but not limited to fares, payment, ticket transfers, changes, cancellations, refunds and general inquiries should be directed to reservations@blade.com. Requests relating to (i) service animals, including submission of the DOT Service Animal Air Transportation Form, (ii) assistive and mobility devices, (iii) boarding, deplaning and stair assistance, (iv) hazardous materials and unaccompanied minors, and (v) luggage and baggage, including whether a particular item can be accommodated on the aircraft and claims for lost, damaged or delayed baggage, should be directed to concierge@aero.com, which is staffed by Carrier. A request sent to either address will be honored; Blade will forward to Carrier any request in categories (i) through (v) that it receives, and Carrier will forward to Blade any commercial request it receives.
Measuring the deadlines. Every period in these policies is measured backward from the scheduled departure time of the flight to which the change or cancellation relates. For this purpose, twenty-one (21) days means five hundred four (504) hours before the scheduled departure time and three (3) days means seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled departure time. A change to, or cancellation of, one flight in an itinerary does not affect the deadline applicable to any other flight in that itinerary.
Refunds. Refunds under these policies will be made to the original form of payment within fourteen (14) days after Aero or Blade receives the Passenger’s notice of change or cancellation. Where a portion of the itinerary has been flown, the refund will equal the applicable fare for the unflown portion of the trip that was cancelled.
Changes and cancellations by Aero, Blade or Carrier. These policies govern changes and cancellations initiated by the Passenger. Cancellations, delays and changes initiated by Aero, Blade or Carrier, including any Major Change, are governed by Section 9 of the BLADEone Public Charter Operator-Participant Agreement and 14 C.F.R. Part 380, and nothing in these policies limits the rights afforded to the Passenger under that Section or under Part 380.
