Flying BLADE to the 2025 Ryder Cup — What to expect

Arriving at the BLADE Lounge for departure

We recommend arriving at BLADE Lounge West at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure. Due to the high attendance at this event and for safety reasons, all flights will adhere to a strict boarding timeline and will depart as scheduled. Guests who arrive late or are not present at the time of boarding will not be accommodated.

Please bring a valid government-issued ID and have it ready for check-in. Flight times cannot be changed, and passengers may be grouped according to weight and balance requirements. We appreciate your understanding.

Please note: there is no parking allowed at the BLADE helipad. You should plan to have your transportation arrive no earlier than 30 minutes before your scheduled departure.

Luggage policy

Bags larger than 10"x10"x10" will not be accepted on any BLADE Ryder Cup flights and will not be permitted on the course. We encourage passengers to follow the PGA guidelines and pack light.

All luggage is subject to the aircraft operator's discretion.

When you arrive at the Ryder Cup

Upon landing, members of the BLADE team will greet you at your helicopter and escort you by golf cart to the Ryder Cup BLADE Lounge located inside the PGA's VIP Corporate Scan Gate entrance. The BLADE Lounge and our team are available throughout your day to ensure a seamless experience.

The BLADE Lounge at Ryder Cup

Inside the lounge, you'll find premium hospitality hosted by the BLADE Flier Experience Team, along with unique experiences to enjoy between matches. Explore the PitchBook Simulator Suite featuring a Five Iron Golf simulator with daily prizes or step into the future with Joby Aviation's next-generation VR flight experience. You'll also have the chance to see and sit inside a full-scale Joby electric air taxi on display.

Your return flight

For corporate bookings: for your return flight, golf cart transportation to the BLADE Lounge is not arranged by BLADE and must be coordinated directly with your PGA representative.

For general public: if you arrived at the course with BLADE, please take note of where you get dropped off at the Gate on Hole 16 at Bethpage Black. Golf cart shuttles will be running continuously back and forth between the BLADE Lounge and the drop-off area at Hole 16.

For Empire Suites or Captains Club, please allot one hour of commute time back to the BLADE Lounge.

For Hospitality Suites on Hole 15, 16, or 17, please allot 45 minutes for commute time back to the BLADE Lounge.

To ensure flights remain on schedule, please be sure to arrive 20 minutes before your flight.

Guests who arrive late or are not present in time for a scheduled departure will not be accommodated. We appreciate your understanding.

When you arrive back in the city after your flight, cars can be staged at designated pick-up areas no more than 15 minutes prior to your arrival. We have a dedicated staging parking area at the parking lot located at 700 West 34th Street.

Inclement weather

In the event of a weather cancellation, if you don’t have separate ground transportation already confirmed, alternate ground transportation must be coordinated in advance with BLADE Ground Operations and is subject to availability.

Weather is dynamic, our operations team will be monitoring hour by hour to ensure your trip is planned accordingly in case of inclement weather.

• Any flight before 8AM, a weather call will be made the night before.
• For flights after 8AM, a weather call will be made 3 hours prior to the scheduled flight.
